Camping
Our troop participates in at least one BIG EVENT every month with a minimum of 10 planned camping nights a year. These events are typically Outdoor Activities and can include Camping, Rock Climbing, Shooting, Camping, River/Float Trips, Caving, and more Camping. We also include such events as LaserQuest, Video Game Lock-ins, and many others. We attend a council level BSA Summer Camp every year and will attempt a Philmont Trek every other year if possible (depending on Scout eligibility and interest).

Troop
Meetings
The whole troop has regular Troop Meetings on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month. The Patrol Leader's Council (PLC) meets on the first Tuesday of the month to plan all activities. Every year the PLC conducts an Annual Planning Conference in October to decide on the troop activities for the following year. We will also meet on the 3rd Tuesday to work on a Merit Badges if scout interest is high.

Scout
Leadership
Our troop is modeled after BSA standards and fosters a safe environment for a "Youth Led" organization. We prepare our youth with Junior Leader Training (JLT). The Troop employs the Patrol Method and holds regular elections for Scout Leadership positions. We attempt to equip our scouts with the appropriate tools to plan and execute every aspect of our program. Adults play an advisory and mentoring role with the scouts.
